PRICES range from $4 per person for a hour to $12 for a day for a single tube. See complete schedule of pricing below.
FLOAT the PORTNEUF RIVER on TPD’s single, double, triple, or quad tubes.
RENT by the hour, rent by the day.
Most people choose to walk but a SHUTTLE is available from a separate transportation contractor for a small fee per person. The shuttle typically operates only on weekends and holidays.
OPEN all summer from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Monday thru Sunday.
FLOAT TIMES are from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (with last rental going out at 7pm because tubes need to be off the river 1/2 before dark). River float time is 15-20 minutes.
GROUP RATES available (reunions, scouts, youth groups, etc). Groups rates begin at 15 people total.
LOCATED on Main Street right next to Lava Hot Spring’s World Famous Hot Pools and right near the tube put-in locations.
LIFE JACKETS are provided on request at no charge with your tube rental.
Credit/Debit cards are excepted (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit and rewards cards)

If you flip out of your tube and can’t catch it: Don’t try to stand in swift water or water that is more than knee-deep, as your feet can become trapped. Rather, position yourself so that your feet are pointed downstream (do not go head first) as you maneuver yourself over to the bank.
Tube with a friend or in a group for help if needed.
Wear shoes that tie or strap to your feet for protection. No flip flops.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: wear shorts and a pair of old tennis shoes, water shoes or river sandals to protect your feet. Flip flops are not adequate and are easily lost.
Do not float with LOOSE ITEMS like wallets, keys, loose-fitting jewelry and other valuables. Secure eye or sunglasses with some sort of retention cord.
Use the tube put-in and exit points marked on the TPD FLOAT MAP.
Life jackets are recommended for all children and non swimmers and are provided as part of the tube rental fee.
No glass containers at or on the river. And PLEASE do not litter the trails or our beautiful river.
